Orlando Didnt Carry Enough Magic To New York For The Knicks!!!!

Oh Lord! What got into the New York Knicks yesterday, they were in “BEAST MODE”. Shots were just falling left and right for this team. In the first quarter, the Magic came out striking, but for the rest of the game Orlando ran out of spells.

Knick forward Carmelo Anthony had an awesome night shooting going 9-15 and scoring 25 points and 6 assist. His confidence had to be at an all time high tonight. He made good decisions with the rock, lessened the turnovers, and also set up good shot opportunities for his other teammates. So far Melo is handling the pressure quite well if you ask me but lets still he also has teammates where he can depend on. I’m pretty sure if you watch that game you couldn’t just say it was a 1 man show.

Coming off the bench was Knicks guard J.r. Smith, who scored 12 points in the game with the help of Knicks 3 pints guru Steve Novak.  Both men are two of the the most proven X factors on the team. Since they stepped out on basketball court this season, the Knicks have improved tremendously. Having Smith playing superb on the defense side  and Novak shooting 3′s everywhere, the Knicks has taken their game to the next level.

Tyson Chandler might have made Dwight Howard reconsider his decision of staying with the Orlando Magic, after what he went through. Tyson held Howard to only 12 points throughout the whole game. Howard struggled to back down Tyson and ended up attempting low percentage shots he is not use to taking. The Magic all together just looked out of sync. There were several turnovers that were just silly and could of been prevented. After reviewing the game, I can see that Dwight Howard needs a helping hand in Orlando or else there will be even more drama.

Everyone gave Carmelo Anthony a lot of credit for this game, but I believe guard Iman Shumpert should get some credit as well. He was red hot from the court, putting up 25 points and 4 assists. He showed off his defensive skills by grabbing some steals and turning them into fastbreak points.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Knicks are 8-1, under new coach Mike Woodson. He has molded this team that we expected it to be. For that, I salute him. I’m pretty sure there will games like this to come very soon.
